A Cry for Libertarian Principles

Part of how the two parties maintain the illusion of opposition to each other is by publicly taking positions on opposite sides of oft discussed issues, even though there is very little difference in what they do when in office. One of the simplest such issues is fiscal responsibility. While our government is constantly running up the debt, most well reasoned individuals innately understand the folly of it because we are constantly working to pay off our own debts and avoid new ones.
